Music lies at the heart of Redhill School. From our brand new, state-of-the-art music school, we offer lessons in all orchestral music instruments as well as piano, keyboard, guitar, bass, drums, saxophone, and voice. 

The Redhill Music School has a wide variety of offerings from private lessons to ensembles for students of all ages. We produce a number of concerts and events each term ranging from formal soirees to casual break time concerts to major productions and everything in between. Our ensembles include everything from orchestras to rock bands to our ever popular marimba programme. We believe that music education is central to your child’s development and all of the research backs up how extensive the benefits are to playing a musical instrument.

Our purpose built music school was designed by us, in consultation with South Africa’s top acoustic engineer and theatre consultant and boasts 12 dedicated one-on-one tuition rooms, each acoustically treated specifically for the instruments taught in those rooms; practice rooms; two small ensemble rooms; a recording studio and a 100-seater performance venue and orchestral rehearsal space. 

Our team boasts some of the most respected teachers in the industry and some of Jozi’s finest performers from the classical, pop and jazz scenes.
